Villeneuve is a municipality of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland, located in the district of Aigle. As of December 2018, it had a population of 5771. Villeneuve has an area, as of 2009, of 32.04 square kilometers. Of this area, 8.56 km² or 26.7% is used for agricultural purposes, while 17.69 km² or 55.2% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 2.63 km² or 8.2% is settled, 0.17 km² or 0.5% is either rivers or lakes and 3.08 km² or 9.6% is unproductive land.
