Tristan Stubbs has scored a patient 47 not out off 41 balls as South Africa beat India by three wickets in the second Twenty20 to level the four-match series 1-1.

An unbeaten 47 from Tristan Stubbs, and a 42-run partnership with Gerald Coetzee, saw South Africa haul themselves over the line for a three-wicket win over India in their Twenty20 international at St George’s Park on Sunday.

World Cup finalists South Africa have rested all-rounder Marizanne Kapp for their upcoming T20 series with England. The Proteas are set to host Heather Knight's side from 24 November for ODI and T20 series, each comprising of three matches, followed by a one-off Test match.

Pressure is on Abhishek Sharma going into the third T20I as the left-handed batter has struggled to find his feet in T20Is, barring his century against Zimbabwe in July.

In the second T20I held at Gqeberha, India batters struggled against South African pacers upfront, getting restricted to 124 for six, and Centurion has similar characteristics.

India and South Africa gear up for the third T20I in Centurion on Wednesday. The Men in Blue are determined to overcome their batting struggles, particularly from the top order barring Sanju Samson, after a disappointing loss in the second match.

With the four-match series all square, India and South Africa will look to stamp their authority as they search for a second win in the third T20I on Wednesday (Nov 13). The hosts won the second T20I by three wickets in a low-scoring affair with Varun Chakaravarthy starring for the visitors with a five-fer.
