A somewhat rare November storm system is gathering steam in the Caribbean Sea. Tropical Storm Sara will eventually make a turn to the east and Florida.

Tropical depression 19 officially formed Thursday morning, and now sits less than 90 miles away from the Nicaragua/Honduras coastline, prompting hurricane and tropical storm watches and warnings for those countries.

The National Hurricane Center has continued to increase the formation chances of the disturbance that is dumping rain over the central Caribbean Sea near Jamaica. The system now has a 90% chance of formation through the next 48 hours.
